Elevation Slabs “Colorado”- Instructions

General information

Slabs and corners “Colorado” are produced manually on a base of natural minerals for the application of interiors of accommodations. The unique system of laying the slabs down “on eye”, it allows for minimum of hiding the connection among individual plates and you can cut the appropriate shapes without the mark of the cutting line.

Executive Indicators

Slabs should be glued on clean, dried and equal leveled surface when applying proper glue for given basis (Glue “Elastic” or after conducting a test of reliability, elastic glues from famous firms). Glues from the firm STEGU® guarantees a long lasting elevation. If necessary the glued surface can be given a layer of clearcole (water-soluble). Basis must be stable and transmit the load of the slab. Temperature of enclosing space while gluing and 48 hours after should be no less than 5 C and no greater than 25 C. Before starting you should get familiar with the indicators of the producers that can be found on the package of the glue.

Installment

Slabs are made in one width of 56 cm and length of 15 cm. Gluing should be started from the bottom, towards the top, and managing plate to the base. While gluing one should use slabs from different wraps instead of using each wrap individually. In case of lacking an equal and even support for the slabs, then start gluing with the help of a leveler on the height of about 16cm from the floor in order to glue the first row of slabs evenly. Spread the glue on the slab punctually and push it evenly against the wall. Remove the excess glue with the spatula. The unevenness on slabs can be evened out with the help of grates for plaster or a knife, but slabs are best cut with timber saw or metal saw. During gluing of the individual coats of slabs, they should be moved to a horizontal level, to the level  of the connection between slabs.
After completing the first bottom coat of glue, remove the patch and stick on the missing row of slabs. Points on slabs make it easier to place them down and for masking among the slot of emerging slabs. Corners are applied for an external and internal finish. The best effect is achieved when laying the slabs without fugues. When finished the elevation preserve it with “Alive Color” which helps to maintain neatness. The difference in dimensions and color result from the character of manual production and it does not defect the product, it gives the elevation a more natural appearance. The firm does not take charge for the incorrect installment of slabs on wall.
