Elevation slabs and corners “Rodos” are produced on a base of synthetic plaster for application inside accommodations. Due to the application of corners, slabs are often used for finishes such as restaurants, salons and around windows and doors. When the proper glue is applied then it is possible to finish walls made from gas-cement, bricks, hollow clay blocks, “Ytong” type bricks etc. Slabs should be checked before lying them down. We prescribe one-time shopping of plate from one productive party to avoid differences.
Executive Indicators
Slabs should be glued on clean, dried and equal leveled surface when applying proper glue for given basis (Glue “Elastic” or after conducting a test of reliability, elastic glues from famous firms). If necessary the glued surface can be given a layer of clearcole (water-soluble). Basis must be stable and transmit the load of the slab. Slabs should be selected from several cardboards for homogenous accommodation of the slab tints. Temperature of enclosing space while gluing and 48 hours after should be no less than 5 C and no greater than 25 C.
Installment
The shape of the slabs allows easy start of gluing slabs in lower elevations. There is no scheme to glue “Rodos” slabs; even a non-experienced individual will not have a problem with gluing these slabs with the use of the proper glue. It only takes adjustment of the plates so the fugue in between them is no more than 25 mm. According to recommendations of producers apply punctually the prepared glue on cleaned slab and press it against the wall with equal pressure. Remove the excess glue with a spatula. You can cut pieces of slab with the help of the timber or metal saw. Slabs are colored in mass and the change of color because of cutting will align once the conservation product is laid on. After, fugue the spaces in between slabs with a non-dirtying joint, for rocks and clinker. After about 14 days of completing the whole elevation, preserve the wall with “Alive color for rocks” which helps to maintain neatness, from the firm STEGU®.
The firm does not take responsibility for incorrect installment of the slabs on wall. Reclamations concerning size and colors are not taken into consideration after installment.
