Verona slabs and corners are produced on a base of concrete for application inside and out accommodations. It belongs to check the slabs before lying them down. Difference in dimensions and colors is the result of manual character of production and they add elevation of natural appearance. We prescribe one-time shopping of plate from one productive party to avoid differences in tints of slabs.

Executive Indicators

Slabs should be glued on clean, dried and equal leveled surface when applying proper glue for given basis (Multi purpose glue “Elastic” or after conducting a test of reliability, elastic glues from famous firms). If necessary the glued surface can be given a layer of clearcole (water-soluble). Basis must be stable and transmit the load of the slab. Slabs should be selected from several cardboards for homogenous accommodation of the slab tints. Temperature of enclosing space while gluing and 48 hours after should be no less than 5 C and no greater than 25 C. It is not allowed to glue when there are strong winds, while it is raining and direct sunlight at surface.
It should not be applied on buildings warmed with styrofoam or mineral wool.

Installment

If gluing is taking place on wall of height min. 1 meter, before gluing with the assistance of the leveler and paint string we draw horizontal lines every 40 cm, which will facilitate equal structuring of slab. Gluing from viewpoint of esthetic it is best to start from top, but gluing from the bottom is also correct. In wrap there is several slabs of different size, but all of them are multiplicity of the smallest size of slab. Place glue on slab punctually and evenly press against wall. Excess glue can be removed with spatula. Slabs are laid with fugue about the width from 10 to 12 mm that is why it is important in keeping it leveled while gluing and the exact removing of excess glue avoiding dirtiness of coast of slabs. With the help of diamond shield cut appropriate sizes of slabs. After finishing preserve the work with “Alive color for rocks” which helps to maintain neatness from the firm STEGU®.
