The stone slab is somewhat changed from the original (in original about 55cm), the purpose is to be used in a ritual game of ball. It was found in Chinkultik in Chiapas Square for the game and shows a kneeling sportsman with a protective belt and a decorative headgear. Before him is placed a considerably large ball for the game which was very popular.
